How will teachers share instructional resources with students?
Microsoft Teams and Office 365
The collaborative features of Microsoft Teams are the
reason the district made this the first stop for student learning. Once
students log into Teams and click the Teams icon, they will see all of their
classes in one place. Students can open each class and click:
Activity - to find assignments, returned assignments, chats, meetings
Assignments - to locate classwork, activities and quizzes.
Channels - which organizes class content by topic, unit, week or
rotation. Students may find links to join meetings here.
Calendar - with links to join scheduled meetings.
Posts - to see messages from their teachers that may
contain directions, files or links to other resources.
Files (top of the window) - which may have activities to
complete, links to online resources, PowerPoints and additional
resources.
Students who call the Technical Support Hotline for their district
issued device may be directed to connect in Teams during their support call.
