BCSD Learning and Transportation Forms

Dear BCSD families,

Thank you for your continued support and patience. We also thank you for your time and efforts in completing our surveys. Your input is highly valued and appreciated!

Based on mandates from the New York State Department of Health, the Monroe County Department of Health and the New York State Education Department, Brockport Central School District will begin the 2020-21 school year in a hybrid learning model. We will also offer a 100% remote learning option.

Although our most recent family survey provided the opportunity for parents to select 100% remote learning, we are asking you to finalize your decision now. If you prefer your child to participate in 100% remote learning, please complete the attached registration form by August 12, 2020. The registration form can be accessed through the following link: BCSD 100% Remote Learning Form

If a remote learning registration form has not been submitted, your child will automatically be placed in the hybrid (in-person) learning model.

Instructional Model Descriptions:

  • 100% Remote Learning: Brockport students will receive instruction from BCSD educators remotely with no in-person instruction. (Please note: homeschooling is different from remote learning. Homeschool students do not receive instruction from BCSD educators and cannot participate in BCSD clubs, activities or athletics. If you are interested in homeschooling, please contact the Office of Instruction at 585-637-1818.)
  • Hybrid Learning Model: Brockport students will receive a combination of in-person and remote learning from BCSD educators. Schedules will be assigned alphabetically by last name once schedules are finalized.

We respectfully request all parents whose children will be participating in the hybrid model, to complete the transportation form by August 12, 2020.  The transportation form may be accessed through the following link: BCSD Hybrid Transportation Needs Form

For additional information, please see our District Reopening Plan on the website. Again, we realize the significant challenges COVID-19 and the health/safety mandates have created. We truly appreciate your continued patience, support and cooperation.
