BOE Hosts Study Session on Assessments, iReady

iReady study session Students, parents and community members are invited to join the Brockport Central School District Board of Education to review assessment results, graduation rates, iReady and other scholastic metrics during a study session on Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. in the District Board Room. 

More specifically, the board will review BCSD's 2018 ELA/literacy and mathematics assessment results in comparison to previous years, as well as graduation rates, regents and advanced placement performance. The board will also discuss the district's use of iReady, the tool used to measure students' academic skills in reading. 

New this year the board of education dedicates the second meeting of each month to publicly discuss matters of interest or concern. These study sessions are part of the board's initiative to further engage with the community on important school issues.
