BCSD Transportation Honors Professional Pupil Transportation Employee of the Year

Brockport Bus Driver Ashley Gilliam received the Professional Pupil Transportation Employee of the Year recognition from the Rochester Area Transportation Supervisors Association (RATSA). She was honored at the RATSA brunch on May 2. Members of area transportation teams are nominated based on the following criteria: good attendance, friendly disposition, relatability and whether the employee readily accepts and exceeds responsibilities while remaining accident free.

A District employee for over 10 years, she currently is a contracted sub driver who comes to work ready to help and tackles each run as if they were her own. Ashley is described by her peers as dependable, caring, flexible, and someone they truly enjoy working with each day. She has gained the respect of not only her peers but also of our students, their families and continues to be a valuable employee of the Brockport Central School District.
