Brockport Central School District is committed to providing a safe and supportive school climate. Through our prevention-based approach of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), all students and adults are expected to be respectful, responsible learners. 

 

 

 

What is PBIS?

PBIS is a “systems approach to creating and maintaining positive school climates where teachers can teach and students can learn.” Components of a proactive PBIS framework include teaching school-wide expectations, acknowledging appropriate behavior and/or correcting errors with a restorative approach, and using data to inform decision-making. Source: NYS PBIS
